Now turn your headphones back down to it's regular volume setting (the one you would use to listen to most commercial songs for fun). After you are done with all of the bands, proceed to the limiter. You want to hear the thump of the instrumentation from the dry side, but you also want it to be almost just as compressed as it was when it was all the way wet. Find compression settings that make the sound compressed in a solid way (in a way you know that it's working and doing its job), then bring back the wet knob until it's a good solid mix between wet and dry. For each band, to start, turn the wet knob all the way wet. You can experiment though if you can think of a backing reason for splitting it up the way you do). You don't have to if your not confident, but if you want to give it a good shot, turn on the compression, which should be in the chain where it needs to. It might take a few tries to actually find one that actually works (thought I wanted to use a Flying Lotus song from Los Angeles but nope, that just distorted everything lol). In Ozone, use the mastering assistant, but find a song to be the reference track (what you would like your masters to sound like). Then of course start mixing it the way you want. Once you do those things, turn the volume up on the headphones while in the daw to what volume makes it sound normal level, just so you can hear what everything sounds like clearly.
Make sure nothing in the effect chain for any instrument is running hot (clipping) either (unless you want that for a distorted sound and it's volume is controlled after the effect). I'd make sure that you give everything plenty of headroom, until the master volume is around the usual -6db at its peak, before using ozone.
